If you are looking for three fun 4th of July ideas for your home or front door…

You’re going to love these 3 fun 4th of July ideas!

I came up with 3 fun 4th of July ideas from one pattern. I know you will find them to be simple, easy and fun. A great project to get the whole family involved in. You can use whatever materials you have at hand. I made mine with some scarp materials left over from a follower of mine. You can use jeans, bandanna’s, other materials that has red, white or blue in them. After gather my materials at hand. I drew a star on paper. Use this as my pattern. Feel free to go as large or small as you would like. I’m sure you can find a star to print out as well. If you can’t draw one.

Layer my material down and traced the star.

I would use a dark color pen or pencil for the lighter material.

For the stuffing you can use cardboard, old pillow, plastic bags, dryer sheets, newspaper, or old scraps of material. Get creative with what you have on hand.

I used an old pillow for mine

You can use fabric glue, Surebond, or sew edges together. I had Surebond on hand for my project.

The stars I made had a different pattern on each side. I just thought it made it fun for this 4th of July idea.

Glueing down half of the star first. Makes it easier to stuff the inside.

To get the stuffing in the corners. I use a skewer stick. It is easier to get in the small spaces.

I worked my way up to one corner of star. Slowly poking the stuffing to the corner.

I know you will love this 4th of July idea. It can be used to make some beautiful 4th of July decor ideas.

You can also use to make a table runner as well.

This is one I saw on Pinterest. That is a great example of how it can be used.

You can fill a dough bowl, make a wreath, banner or table runner. They are all good choices with this star pattern. I would love to know what project you come up with. Using this pattern. Make sure to follow on Pinterest, YouTube, Facebook and Instagram.
