A lemon night light, now that’s something I never heard of. It is not often that you see decorative night lights, perhaps you could find one via etsy or other craft shops but I had never seen one. Since I had never personally seen one, I decided I wanted to create one for myself. With that, it’s summertime and the design that goes best with summer are lemons! And because Lemons have a way of bringing out the bright and warm feelings of summer, I assumed making a little night light with lemons would be adorable. Not to mention I create a lot of lemon themed DIYs for the summer, so I figured, what’s one more? Due to that thought I created the night light, here is the step by step tutorial on how to make one for yourself.
Here’s what you’ll need:

- Paint
- Calendar
- Modge Podge
- Scissors
- Paint brushes
- Night light
- Hair drier (optional)

Now that you’ve completed all the steps, you have a beautiful summery lemon night light. Since you have this lemon night light, you can put it in a nursery, in a hallway, a bedroom, etc. Especially if you’re looking to spice up your home for the summer. Summertime is one of my favorite seasons, everything is so bright, warm, and happy. Being happy is so important, and I feel like summer brings this out in people.

Because summertime is so bright and warm, I think creating designs with lemons is perfect. With that, there are plenty of other fruits to use besides lemons. These include but are not limited to watermelons, strawberries, peaches, and cherries! Due to these fruits all being warm and bright, you could easily find a different fruit design to add to the night light. Moreover, you could really change the design of this night light to match any season.
