Decorating an Amazing Red and White Christmas Tree

DIY's· Holidays· Home Decor

19 Nov

Today, I’m decorating an amazing red and white Christmas tree, and I’m so excited! There are a few DIYs sprinkled in here too so make sure you read through! Also, you can watch the quick video below!

Firstly, let’s get you a supply list!
  • Ribbon (small and large)
  • Tree
  • Ornaments
  • Pipe cleaners (tinsel ones)
  • Lights (colored or white)
  • Poinsettias
  • Any other things you’d like to add! Make it your own!

Secondly, assuming you’ve put your tree up, you can start putting your ornaments on! Since this is a red and white Christmas tree, most of the ornaments are red and white. Furthermore, I used quite a few of the ornaments I’ve been making as DIYs. For example, this truck napkin ornament! You can actually find this ornament DIY on the blog.

Thirdly, I made this little trio of blue, silver, and white ornaments. As I said, this is a red and white Christmas tree, but my walls in the bedroom are blue. Therefore, I need to tie a little bit of blue in the tree to make it cohesive! I simply did this by using a pipe cleaner and sliding the ornaments onto it. Afterward, I twisted it together and tied it onto the branch of the tree I wanted.

Fourthly, I added this big red and white Christmas tree ribbon. And, it’s buffalo check, how cute is that? To attach this to the tree, I pinched it in sections and twisted it onto a branch. It’s a fairly simple process, but I recommend watching the video to see how I do it. The second little DIY I did was a bow, which again I encourage you to go watch the video to see how I made it. Isn’t that Santa ribbon the cutest though?

Finally, we have the finished red and white Christmas tree! Of course, as I mentioned before there is some blue in the tree, but that’s just to keep it cohesive with my bedroom. I think it came out beautifully, and I hope you think so too. Don’t forget to check out the blog for more DIYs like this one! You can also follow us on social media by clicking here!
