This Dollar Tree Easy Spring Flower Vase is perfect for any areas of your home looking for a pop of color, such as a side table in your living room! The inspiration for this DIY came from trying to recycle old Easter materials, I did in fact have a lot of these. Because most Easter decor can easily be made into a generic Spring craft, this is easy!
Let’s get into the craft!
What you’ll need:
- Two vases, one bigger than the other
- Fake or real flowers (that’s up to you!)
- Moss (from outside or bought)
- Colorful vase fillers
- Decorative carrots
- Ribbon
- Pipe Cleaners

Step 1
Start with your two vases. As mentioned, you’ll want one bigger than the other. Place the smaller one inside the larger one.

Step 2
During this step, start to add your flowers to the smaller vase! If you’re adding real flowers, you can always add them later.

Step 3
Your beautiful flowers are in place! Now it’s time to spruce up the larger vase. Add moss to the bottom. You can make this step simple by using a stick to push the moss down.

Step 4
How cute are these carrots? They add such a nice pop of color on top of the moss. You can use the stick you used to help you with the moss to assist you in placing these up straight. Even though it looks easy, it can be a little tricky!

Step 5
This is my favorite part! You get to add your vase fillers, undoubtedly these are super colorful and absolutely adorable. This is an easy step, but you can always use your handy dandy stick to help you move them around to any place you like.

Step 6
This step is optional but I wanted to show you anyway! I thought adding a cute bow to the top of my spring vase pulled it all together. Find some ribbon you like, and begin by folding it and hold it in the center. You’ll then want to use a pipe cleaner to secure the middle of the bow. From there you can cut the excess ribbon off.

Step 7
This is the final step. You will want to fold the ends of the bow in addition to cutting downwards, you can create this sweet little detail at the bottom. Again, totally optional but I’m extra and enjoy adding details like this. Cut the excess pipe cleaner from the bow and then attach it to the top of your vase. You can add a little friend if you’d like, for example my little bunny.
now you have a dollar tree Easy Spring flower vase!
