INGREDIENTS FOR THE POTATO SOUP:

8 cups potatoes,

diced 1 yellow onion, or sweet onion diced

2 large carrots, peeled and chopped

1/2 cup chopped celery 16 ounce

Left over ham or store bought

1 teaspoon sea salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 cup flour

4 cups chicken broth

1 1/2 cups heavy cream (you can also use milk – I used whole milk)

Today is the perfect day for Grandma’s Potatoe Soup. It’s a rainy cloudy day here in Florida.

Potato Soup

Place all the vegetables in a strainer to wash and clean.

placed all the veggies and ham in the pot. As you can see, I sneak in a little veggies where I can. The kids will never notice over the taste. After this, Place the chicken broth in pot and boil for an hour to hour and half or unTil the vegetables are tender.

Add your heavy cream, flour and sour cream. Cook another 15 minutes.

I topped off the Potato Soup with cheese and paired it with my chicken salad sandwich. After, I Curled up on couch and put on a movie. It was the perfect end to a busy week, comfort food and relaxation. you can find the chicken salad recipe by clicking the link below.
