How To Make A Bow

DIY's· Uncategorized

10 Dec

To make this bow, you will need:

1. Your choice of ribbon. You can go with a 3,4 , or 5 loop bow. Each ribbon can be a different color or pattern.

Once you’ve picked out your choices, you need to lay them out flat beside each other.

I would suggest that you choose one solid ribbon color and the others can be a pattern. I just feel it’s brings more interest when making the bow.

The ribbons I chose are neutral colors. This is simply because I am going with a “Winter “ feel.

After you’ve made your choices of colors, You’ll need to snip one end of the ribbon at an angle.

After you have snipped all the ends at an angle, you can cut the other end of the ribbon straight across. Make sure to do this at different lengths. However, still close in length.

You will then gather the end of the ribbon that is cut straight across. Make a loop and hold it between your fingers.
Do the same with all ribbon pieces.Until you have gather them all in your hands.Like you see demonstrated in the picture.
You will then need a pipe cleaner to place around the ribbon. Make sure you get the the straight end inside the pipe cleaner so your bow does not unravel.

Then twist the pipe cleaner around the ribbon 3 to 4 times to secure.

The fluff the ribbon to your liking.
Here is a 3 and 4 loop bow
Here is a 5 loop bow
I feel that bows give that extra touch. I hope you enjoyed how simple it is to make these bows. It’s Easy Peezy! Please let me know if this has helped you or if you decide to give it a try for yourself.
