FIRSTLY, LETS GET YOU A SUPPLY LIST:
- Patriotic Scarves (Dollar Tree)
- Metal Wooden Star Plaque (Dollar Tree)
- Floral Garden Star Shaped Wreath (Dollar Tree)
- Ribbon ( Dollar Tree)
- Hot Glue Gun
- Glue
- Scissors
- Paint
- Paint Brush
- USA stencil (My shop-Magnolia Design Co)

SECONDLY, LETS GET INTO MAKING THE CRAFT:
I started this craft by taking my scarf and looping it around my star. As you can see in the video I make sure that I am pulling the scarf somewhat taut around the star and using my other hand to guide it through. You will continue this process until you have covered the full star with both scarves. I used my hot glue gun to secure the scarf at the ends to ensure it stays in place.

THIRDLY, LETS PUT THE FINISHING TOUCHES ON THIS FOURTH OF JULY WREATH:
Next, I take my brown paint and began painting the wood part of the galvanized star. Afterwords, I take my Elmer’s glue and dab it around the metal part of the star before adding some of the brown stain. This will give it that rustic look. I use a generous amount of brown paint for this part of the craft. I also decied to add some white paint onto the metal part of the star. Lastly, I add my Magnolia stencil to the middle of the star and add some additional white paint around the edges before placing it onto my wreath.

FINALLY, YOU HAVE MADE A DOLLAR TREE ANTIQUE FLAG:
Finally, I add a white fabric bow to the top of the star. I also made one of my scrap bows and added that to the bottom of the star. Now you have made a beautiful Dollar Tree, DIY Fourth of July Wreath. This DIY really brings the Americana feel to your front porch and is perfect for Fourth of July. I absolutely love how this DIY Fourth of July wreath turned out. It’s a simple and a budget friendly Fourth of July idea. I hope you love this idea and that it inspired you.
