This dollar tree snowman was so fun to make! Of course, I had to jump on the trend for Christmas. Furthermore, I know everyone is looking for Christmas DIYs already! I am so excited to show you this snowman DIY, but first, make sure you check out the quick video below (click to watch)!

Firstly, you’ll need:
- Velvet fabric
- Ribbon
- Pine
- Dollar Tree plates
- Hot glue
- Scissors
- Cardboard
- Buttons
- Phelt

Secondly, you’ll start by putting your hat together. This is super simple, so all I did was trace a hat from cardboard and cut it out. Afterwards, I hot glued black velvet onto it. You can use any black fabric, or even black construction paper. Then, I added checkered ribbon to the top and bottom, some pine and red pom poms and a sparkling silver ribbon to it (see finished product photo).

Thirdly, I worked on the body of the snowman. This step consisted of me hot gluing the plates together but also securing the back with a yard stick. I had to secure the back of the plates and hat due to the snowman being a bit flimsy. Moreover, I added button eyes, buttons for his jacket, and painted on his smile and rosy cheeks! I also added a carrot nose, and sprinkled some diamond dust over his nose and cheeks for a little frosty look. After that, I gave him a little scard with a broche to keep him warm!

Finally you have your finished snowman!

I hope you love this Christmas DIY! There will plenty more coming soon, so keep visiting the blog regularly! There’s also plenty of other DIYs for Christmas up, so check those out too. We’re also on other social medias, follow us on the side bar option or by clicking here.

Love, love, love the snowman. Questions: are they just plastic dinner plates or chargers?
Also, the material you used for nose… was that orange foam board?
