How to Make a Halloween Trick or Treat Bag

DIY's· Fall

14 Sep

Today, I want to show you how to make a fun Halloween bag! Of course, with Halloween right around the corner, this is a fun craft to do with your kids or grandkids. Trick or treating is such a great time for kids, and having a cute Halloween bag can make it fun! Let’s get into this craft, and here is what you’ll need.

Supply list is as follows:
  • Iron
  • Bag
  • Napkins
  • Tacky Glue
  • Fabric
  • Pom-Poms
  • Baking Sheet

Firstly, cut out the images you want from your napkins. After, place the images on the desired location on the bag. Then, place your baking sheet over the images and iron over it. Hopefully, this will transfer onto the bag. As you’ll see, it sort of kind of worked for me but for the most part it worked.

Secondly, I added a stencil that says “Happy Halloween”. This step is optional, but I used a stencil and ink to do it. You then, if you ended up like me, might need to patch up some parts of the napkins that did not transfer properly. I did this but using tacky glue, and then I added a bow to the bag. Also, a tip before adding the stencil, you’ll need to dry the ink by using a heater or hair drier.
