You guys know that I love my seasonal wreaths. Summer is the perfect time to make a patriotic wreath because of the many American holidays. This year I purchased a green wreath from Marshalls and I have been able to interchange the decor, making it the perfect seasonal wreath. For todays DIY I took my lemon wreath that you guys have mostly likely seen and made it into a patriotic wreath. As always, you can watch the video replay below, don’t forget to comment #replay on the video so we know you saw it! Now lets get into the craft, all you need is what’s listed below..

FIRSTLY, LETS GET YOU A SUPPLY LIST:
- Green Wreath (Marshalls)
- Ribbon (Dollar Tree)
- Pipe Cleaner
- Patriotic Mason jar (one of my DIYs)
- Scrap bow (Made with a pair of jeans and ribbon)
- Kabobs
- Stars

SECONDLY, LETS GET INTO MAKING THE CRAFT:
To start this DIY I took my spring lemon wreath and removed all the decor. I love how I can interchange the decor as the seasons change. Once the lemons were removed, I began placing my patriotic decor. I started by placing my patriotic mason jar on the left side and my scrap bow on the right side of the wreath.. I am obsessed with how this scrap bow turned out. To make it, I used some ribbon and a old pair of jeans for that country look.

THIRDLY, LETS PUT THE FINISHING TOUCHES ON THIS patriotic wreath:
To fill in the spaces between the bow and jar, I took some stars and placed them on kabobs. I love these gingam stars and I also incorporated a white star for a little pop of color. Once my star kabobs were in place I grabbed some pipe cleaner to secure my mason jar and bow onto the wreath. The reason I used pipe cleaner is because it’s easily hidden in the greenery. Also, it can be removed easily for when you are ready to switch out the decor for a different season.

FINALLY, YOU HAVE MADE A seasonal patriotic wreath:
I take one final look to make sure everything is secured and to my liking. Now you have made a beautiful yet simple patriotic wreath. It was so simple to interchange the decor on this wreath and I love how it turned out. As seen in the video I provided a few other options for Dollar Tree patriotic decor you could use for this summer wreath. The options are endless for how you can decorate your patriotic wreath and you still have plenty of time to make this DIY for the summer. This is a simple and a budget friendly patriotic idea.
