FIRSTLY, LETS GET YOU A SUPPLY LIST:
- Scissors
- Candle (Dollar Tree)
- Mod Podge
- Buffalo Check & Sunflower Napkin (Dollar Tree)
- Paint Brush
- Antibacterial Wipe
- Jute String (Dollar Tree)
- Hot Glue Gun
- Greenary

SECONDLY, LETS GET INTO MAKING THE CRAFT:
To start this craft I took an antibacterial wipe and used it on the candle for easy removal of the sticker. After that, I took my mod podge paste and covered the candle glass with 2 light layers. You will then cut and wrap the buffalo check napkin around the candle. I used a light amount of paste to close the napkin onto the glass and at the lip of the candle. This created a snug fit of the napkin around the candle. Make sure to use a light amount of coverage with the paste so it doesn’t tear the napkin. Lastly, you will take your sunflower napkin and begin to trim and cut the napkin to your liking..

THIRDLY, LETS PUT THE FINISHING TOUCHES ON THIS Dollar SUNFLOWER CRAFT:
To finalize this sunflower craft you will take another thin layer of mod podge and place it onto the buffalo check napkin. Once you have your paste on the napkin, you will place your sunflower napkin and wrap it around the candle. As seen in the video I cut my sunflower napkin a decent amount to ensure the buffalo check could be seen. Afterwords, you will take another light amount of mod podge and tap it on top of the sunflower napkin to secure it in place. Finally, I decided to do something a little extra with my jute string.

FINALLY, YOU HAVE MADE A SUNFLOWER CRAFT:
For something extra, I took my jute string and looped it around the top and bottom of the candle. I looped it around 5-6 times and then used hot glue to hold the string into place. This gives it a rustic look in my opinion. To top it off, I take a little greenary and a small bow that I made out of string and glue it to the top of the candle. Now you have made a simple, DIY sunflower craft candle. It’s not only perfect for summer but depending on your style it’s great for several seasons. I hope you guys like this Sunflower Craft.
