FIRSTLY, LETS GET YOU A SUPPLY LIST:
- Sponge (Dollar Tree)
- Moss (Dollar Tree)
- Leaves/Floral (Dollar Tree)
- Hot Glue Gun
- Jute String
SECONDLY, LETS GET INTO MAKING THE CRAFT:
I started this DIY by taking my adorable 3 bath sponges from Dollar Tree and began cutting them. As seen in the video, I took 2 of the sponges and cut off the edges to then glue them together. This creates a bigger oval for the base of my pumpkin. Next, I took my third sponge and glued it to the top of these sponges. You now have a beautiful pumpkin shape. Afterwords, I grabbed my floral, leaves and moss.
THIRDLY, LETS PUT THE FINISHING TOUCHES ON THIS UNIQUE DIY PUMPKIN:
Now that the pumpkin shape has been created with my sponges, I began glueing my leaves, floral and moss to the top of my pumpkin. The options are endless on how you can decorate the top of your pumpkin. I chose to use the basic fall colors of leaves and floral for mine. After that, I took my jute string and created stem to then glue to the top of my pumpkin in between the floral and moss.
