How to Make a Christmas Reindeer

Crafts· DIY's· Holidays

30 Nov

What is Christmas without Christmas Reindeer? Of course, by now, you all know Christmas time is my favorite. This craft was made during a Live I did on Facebook and I would love for you to check it out. Without further a due, let’s get you a supply list.

Christmas Reindeer

If you find a different reindeer template you’d prefer to use, you’re more than welcome. I drew this one up to help out with being budget-friendly! I also put measurements below in case you wanted to draw it yourself on paper. You can also lightly trace it from the computer screen onto paper (do this carefully, don’t damage your computer!!) I hope this helps!

Firstly, here is what you need
  • Moss
  • Reindeer template
  • Scissors
  • Paint
  • Rope
  • Pine cones
  • Hot glue gun
  • Ribbon
  • Winter greenery

Secondly, you’ll trace your reindeer out on a foam board or cardboard. You can grab either of these from Dollar Tree. Then, hot glue the moss to your Christmas reindeer cut out. After painting the ears with apple barrel melted chocolate paint, outline it with novelty rope, jute, or any design of rope that you like. You then can attach whatever hanger that you want to use. Remember you can decorate however you see fit. I also used the pine cones as the nose and eyes.

Christmas Reindeer

Finally, you have your finished Christmas Reindeer. As you can see, I added a bow to the doe. There is no need tol make a doe but I wanted to. I absolutely adore them and hope you do too.
