How to Make Dollar Tree Winter Wonderland Snow Globe DIY

DIY's· Home Decor

12 Oct

I don’t think I have ever made a snow globe on the blog! So of course, I had to make the first! Snow globe DIYs can be very versatile, but I made this one Christmas-themed. It is the cutest little DIY and I hope you love it as much as I do. Firstly, as we get into this DIY, you can watch the quick video recap below!

Secondly, let’s get a supply list!

Here is what you’ll need:
  • Ribbon
  • Diamond Dust
  • Terrarium from Dollar Tree
  • Faux snow
  • Hot Glue
  • White paint
  • Scissors

Thirdly, to start your snow globe, grab some trees and figurines. Before you put them in the globe, paint the bottom white, and then add some diamond dust. Afterwards, let it dry and then hot glue your trees and deer in. I then added handfulls of faux snow and diamond dust into the snow globe.

Fourthly, I painted on some tacky glue and sprinkled diamond dust and glitter at the top of the snow globe to give it a frosted look. I think it came out amazing, I also hot glued silver tinsel to the entrance. Next, I added ribbon at the top with a little embellishment to allow it to be hung up. Afterwards, I added a small bow to the side, which actually covers a secondary hole that was there. And of course, I had to add a jewel to the center of that as well.
