Of course, us southern folk love our baked beans. Even those in the northern and western sides love baked beans. Subsequently, my Grandmother had the BEST baked bean recipe (though I may be biased in saying so). This Father’s Day, I made this recipe for my family and they loved it. Also, I’m sure all of you will love it too. Keep reading to learn this recipe!

Here’s what you will need to make Grandma’s Baked Bean Recipe!
- Onion
- Hot Dogs
- Ground beef
- Sonny’s BBQ sauce
- Sausage
- Syrup
- Splenda
- Bush’s Baked Beans

Firstly, you’ll cut up 3 hot dogs. Then, you’ll put 1/4 of a pound of sausage and ground beef into the pan. Cook the meats until they begin browning.

Likewise, in a separate pan, sauté the chopped up pieces of your onion. In addition to that, you will put the buttering here. To me, this adds extra flavor to the onion as you sauté it and keeps it more sweet when you put it into the baked beans.

Once your onions and meats are cooked, you can put all of it together. Now, get a baking dish and pour the baked beans, cooked meats and onions in. Immediately following, add 1/4 cup of brown sugar, a tablespoon of of syrup (you pick the syrup), and 2 1/4 cups of Sonny’s BBQ sauce.

Lastly, put your dish into the oven to bake. Personally, I like to bake it until my hot dogs are a little charred, but it’s whatever you like. For me, I cook with the oven at 375 degrees for about 25 minutes.

Finally, you can enjoy my Grandma’s Baked Bean Dish! I hope you’ll try this and love it, let me know if you will!
