Today I wanted to try my hand at Marble Pumpkins! If you do not know what marbling is, it’s pouring some nail polish into the water and dipping pretty much anything you want in it! This process is such an easy and fun way to create cool patterns on an object. Of course, I want to show you how to make this DIY. But, don’t forget you can watch the video replay below!
Firstly, here is what you’ll need:
- Bowl
- Water
- Nail Polish
- Items of your choice (mine will be pumpkins)

Secondly, grab your bowl and fill it with plain water. No need to be fancy with the agua here, tap water will work fine. Then, you’ll add your nail polish! Make sure you choose a few different colors. I did two different rounds of this step, but they came out awesome both times. The first time, I used orange, cream, and teal colors. The second time, I used white, silver, and gray.

Thirdly, now you can dip your item into your water and start the marbling process. Like I said, I used pumpkins. Therefore, the first two marble pumpkins were dipped in the cream, orange, and teal. The other two were dipped in the silver, white, and gray. Using the stick in the image, you can move the paint around on your pumpkin. You can also do that while the paint is still in the bowl.

Finally, you have your completely marble pumpkins! This little project is so much fun and really simple. Just remember, that since this is nail polish, it’ll have to air dry.
