Firstly, let’s get you a supply list:
- Paper tags
- Music note scraps: get them here ->
- Mod Podge
- Diamond dust
- Flowers (pressed from my yard)
- Scrap fabric
- Diamond print paper: get it here ->
- Brown paint
- Floral napkin: get it here ->
- Hot glue

Secondly, beginning with the first of the springtime gift tags, paint on the brown color. Make sure you paint it dry, and very lightly. We’re trying to give it an antique vintage look, so do not coat the entire tag. Once that is done, grab a scrap music sheet and rip desired pieces up. Afterward, crumple the music sheet pieces in your palm and then lightly dab some brown paint on them.
Then, put some mod podge onto your tag and begin to place the music sheet pieces onto the tag. Also, using the floral napkin, cut up the desired pieces and place them where you’d like on top of the music sheet pieces. Once you have done that, you can take an elegant-looking piece of fabric and lay it across your tag where you see fit. Then, in order to tie your tag to a gift bag, add some ribbon that you feel matches your floral napkin. Finally, you have completed the first of the two springtime gift tags.

Thirdly, we will start the second of the springtime gift tags.
Of course, you’ll start with a paper tag once again. This time, however, you’ll rip up pieces of your music sheet and leave it simple. The same tactic of making it look antique happens, so like before, lightly paint on some brown. Afterward, let the tag dry and then put a thin coat of mod podge over the music sheet pieces. You will then sprinkle on some diamond dust to add a little sparkle. Once you have done that, tie your floral pieces in some jute string and glue a piece of fabric over it to secure it to the springtime gift tags!
Now, you are finally done! Use your springtime gift tags to label presents for those loved ones! This is such a versatile craft where you can decorate these tags in so many different ways. I hope you loved these two DIYs as much as I did! Make sure to check out the blog for more crafts like this one. We are also on social media, you can check us out by clicking here!
