Rae Dunn Inspired DIY Ornaments

DIY's· Uncategorized

18 Nov

Do you love the look of Rae Dunn as much as I do? Want to create your own? I have a very simple and easy DIY for you!

Supplies you will need are

A clear ornament for the Dollar Tree OR and already solid white ornament

White or Acrylic or Chalk Paint (if you buy the clear ornament)

Some alcohol to clean them with

Decal Letters from the Dollar Tree or anywhere you find them

Boxwood Greenery (optional)

Ribbon or Bow for the top (optional)

Jute

Modge Podge

Before assembling together. Make sure to wipe down with alcohol. Let dry before applying the stickers.

Now for me, this was the fun part. The kids and I played word Scrabble. I was taking the words on the decal and unscrambling them to make new words that were Christmas like.

Then cut letters out one by one. Apply them and smooth them carefully on to the ornament.

You can seal with Modge Podge.

I wanted to embellish mine with some kind of greenery and red and black Buffalo check.

I wanted to have more of a rustic look.

To accomplish that I made a rag bow.

And there you have it! A Ray Dunn Inspired Dollar Tree Ornament!
