Do it Yourself: Easy Shabby Chic Scrap Fabric Bracelet

Crafts· DIY's

You’re going to love this Do it Yourself: Easy Shabby Chic Scrap Fabric Bracelet!

This Shabby Chic Scrap Fabric Bracelet inspiration came from left over projects. I had small pieces of fabric that I wanted to find a use for, and the colors of this fabric I had laying around would be perfect for patriotic themed or summer accessory, but you can make these for any occasion depending on the type of fabric you have!

Here’s how you can make your own Shabby chic Scrap Fabric Bracelet

Supplies Needed:

  • Scissors
  • Surebond fabric glue (or you can stitch if you prefer)
  • Scrap materials of your choice
  • A closure of some kind for the bracelet

Step 1

Cut a strip of fabric Jean (or any sturdier fabric) to 7 inches.

Step 2

Gather up your small scraps and try to even them up. They don’t have to be perfect, they can be different lengths and widths. Just try to color coordinate them some.

Step 3

Put a small dab of Sure bond glue on jean material. Then place the pieces of fabric on top, arranging them in a way that you like.

Step 4

Using the glue and your scrap fabric, work your way all the way around the bracelet until you get the desired look you’re going for.

.

Step 5

Attach your bracelet closure. I used a piece of jute and a button. For this option I also wrapped a piece of fabric around where the jute is attached to give it a cleaner look.

.

Now your Shabby chic scrap Fabric Cuff Bracelet is complete!

I really love the final look. This project took less than 10 minutes for me to do and the cost for me was digging through my craft stash, can’t get any better than that!

So Stink’n cute!! It looks like a row of red, white & blue bows? with lace behind them. Love the red check button for the closure. I have small wrist so I guess I should make it for about 6 3/4″?
