WHAT DOES SPRING MEAN TO YOU?
For me, this season, it means so many things. Besides beautiful flowers, birth, weddings, cleaning, and DIY’s. It means Growth, to see past my self for strength when I have none. It means to just be present and say no words, it means to love with no conditions, it means to find the beauty in where I am.
You see when tragedy hits your family, You see what matters. You have to step back from all the business, To make your self available for the one who has lost there way. To grab their hand and say here I am.
After all God left the 99 to chase the one. So shouldn’t we do the same. Do you know he says in the hard times? His word says: Proverbs 18:10 The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run into it and are safe. Nehemiah 8:10 Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength. Isaiah 41:10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I have to reflect on these words and seat in his beauty. That means get out doors for me. Take a walk where I can surround myself with his strength and promises.
It amazes me how the smallest seeds are planted in the dirt. But as you take the time. To water it, pick the weeds out, to give it proper sun light and shade It needs to grow. That it will produce beautiful flowers or plants. But just like people. All though all these things are needed. Depending on what you are growing. Each plant is different. Some need more sun. Others need more shade or water.
People are the same . Some need my sun. Just to feel your presents with no words. Water, to speak life into them. Shade, to cover them in prayer. When you can’t do much of anything else. On occasions you may have to tie a board next to the plant. To help stabilize the plant. Til it can stand on its own. The same way we are to just stand. With that person in need. With your arm around them. To just hold them up.
Life can be hard. But God did provide away for those hard times. His word says: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” Though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the LORD upholds him with his hand.
I will hang onto these words. As I hang onto his promises. Knowing he will make the difference. My job is to plant the seed. This is still taking your Ordinary life and making it something Extraordinary for him… More DIY’s to come. But this blog was heavy on my heart to write. Hoping it would encourage someone else out there going through a rough time. Reach to God in fasting, prayer and his truth to see you to the other side of victory.
